Knitting obviously NOT flowing from the needles. The home (computer) unit has been in a coma for three weeks now. Three weeks which feel like three years. So much happens in such a short span of time here on the net. I shouldn’t be surprised. I’m not surprised. I thought that I would be suffering from far worse symptoms of my deprivation but I am smoothly living life and knitting whenever I find a moment to relax, being not so often.
I spend my web quality time printing off free patterns from Ravelry (for fear that they would no longer exist next time I get to the computer). Bloody MagKnits and Interweave! I shake my fist furiously in your directions. Thanks to you I have developed a new phobia!
I constanly find myself quoting Margot Tenenbaum "because I'm in a rut and I need a change.." or something like that. Summer is coming. Cotton. Bah. I want my wool!
I am working a part time watering/planting flowers job for my good friends DH. One day and I had pulled a muscle in my thigh, one day! Ok, take that back...THREE HOURS! That was it. I didn't expect myself to be that much out of shape for planting flowers. It has really awakened me to what a slacker I have actually become.
Moon ritual came rushing today. Red currents. Searching Ravelry for quirky menstrual patterns.

Bullets
A bulleted list on the process of finishing projects...(or lack there of)
- Yarn never stops calling from the shelves to be played with
- The act of knitting is more gratifying than the end result
- Frog is my middle name
- Pattern loathing should not be ignored, why suffer when you can just quit?
- Ravelry
- Too many beers which then causes blurry vision which then causes dropped stitches
- Emergency gifts
- Quite near impossible for the ADD Knitter

A new pattern for Spring yet Spring has decided to be a bit chilly.
These are great for bike rides and prevents the wind from freezing your fingers.

B-Town Beanie

Bryan wanted a new hat. So whats a girl to do? After an hour of searching through every possible place to hide-stuff-cram yarns I found some hunter green and gold in my stash and set to work. This is the result. Downside is that it is ALL acrylic (which I vowed to discontinue use).
Upside? He now wears it everyday and comments on how much he loves the hat. What a proud craftista am I!
